A Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation branch in the Killeen, Texas area partnered with the American Warrior Initiative (AWI) to honor a local U.S. veteran. Along with a donation, the Fairway branch held a residential housing “boot camp” to train real estate professionals and mortgage planners on how to best handle the home-purchase needs of active duty military members and veterans.
The honoree at the event was a local U.S. Army Ranger, veteran Jayd Bosiacki. Jayd owns a business called JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Killeen, which offers junk removal and hauling services for residential and commercial customers and employs military veterans and military family members. Fairway and AWI honored Jayd with a business grant of $20,000 to hire more veterans and update equipment.
Co-founded by Louise Thaxton and Sean Parnell, the American Warrior Initiative is a non-profit organization sponsored by Fairway Independent Mortgage. AWI seeks to ease U.S. veterans’ transition from military to civilian life.
I am proud to work for a company that does so much to honor those who sacrifice for our country. If I can help answer any questions about VA loans or any other home loan options, please give me a call.Tags: Veterans
